Make it Six

Hello! My name is Christina, welcome to my life. My husband and I, along with our six children, have a farmstead in rural North Dakota where I have been living my homesteading dreams.

About 10 years ago, it started with a small garden which nurtured my passion to play farmer. Since then I have turned my small garden into 5000 square feet of produce, took in a Jersey dairy cow and more chickens than I care to count. In December of 2014, I was also blessed, or not so blessed, with the diagnosis of Celiac disease. I am also currently going to school for a degree in the healthcare field and run a home based business which I started to motivate me to get in shape and maintain my health.

I love what I do, but it definitely has it's ups and downs. Every day is a learning experience and a new day to grow.
